Yes. Saint Lucia’s Citizenship by Investment Act allows revocation for fraud, a criminal conviction, or an act that the Minister considers capable of bringing the country into disrepute. The conviction provision does not specify a minimum sentence, and the disrepute provision does not require a conviction. The Minister must provide written grounds for revocation. Affected citizens have a right to appeal to the High Court, with notice of appeal required within 30 working days after the revocation order is served.

Generally, yes. Under section 101 of the Constitution, a citizen who acquired citizenship through investment can transmit it to a child subsequently born abroad. That child, if a citizen solely by descent, cannot automatically transmit citizenship to another foreign-born generation. A dependent who receives their own citizenship grant through the investment application is in a different position and can generally transmit citizenship to their own later-born children abroad.
