About Álvaro D. María
Álvaro D. María is a prominent figure in the field of Bitcoin and philosophy, known for his work on the philosophical aspects of Bitcoin.
He holds a degree in Law and Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and a Master's in Auditing and Advanced Accounting from the General Council of Economists. He is also a researcher in Philosophy and Legal Theory related to new technologies and biotechnology at UCM. He is the Director of the Postgraduate Program in Bitcoin at the Universidad de las Hespérides and a professor of postgraduate studies at UCEMA, teaching courses on Bitcoin philosophy and decentralization
Álvaro is widely known for his book "La filosofía de Bitcoin" (The Philosophy of Bitcoin), which explores Bitcoin from a philosophical perspective, focusing on its cultural, political, and economic impact.
He is also the CEO of BTC Consulting 360, a company that provides personalized Bitcoin consulting services, where he developed "Método Bitcoin 360" for learning about Bitcoin custody and privacy, and serves as the Secretary General of the Association of Professionals and Companies of Cryptoassets in Spain (APECE)
Álvaro is a frequent speaker at conferences such as LABITCONF and the Bitcoin Conference, and he collaborates with various Bitcoin outlets and libertarian institutions like the Instituto Juan de Mariana.
