National Card Renewal

A São Tomé and Príncipe national card renewal is for a card you already hold and need to extend or reissue before it lapses. If the card was lost or damaged, we use a replacement instead.

A short visit is often required for a new photo. We confirm that before you travel, then follow the renewed card until it is ready.

1. Send a scan of the current card and your passport.
2. We confirm whether a visit is required and send the quote.
3. The renewal is filed, and the appointment is booked if needed.
4. We tell you when the new card is ready.

You receive a quote before any filing starts. It separates the CitizenX fee from government charges, courier costs, and legalization. Those extras are added only when they apply, and only after you approve them.
