Overview

This service adds a newborn to an existing Vanuatu citizenship granted under the Development Support Program. The authority wants the birth record and the parent's citizenship papers before the child is added.

We prepare that file and follow it until the child is recorded. A passport for the child can be quoted after the addition is confirmed.

What's included

  • A check of the birth record and the parent's DSP citizenship papers
  • Filing the addition with the authority
  • Follow-up until the child is added
  • A note on the child's passport application once the record is updated

Documents

What to send

Birth certificate

The child’s birth record. A hospital notice is enough to start if the full certificate is not ready.

Passport

The parent's Vanuatu passport or citizenship certificate.

Passport-style photo

A photo of the child, if the authority asks for one.

Process

  1. Send the birth record and the parent’s citizenship papers.
  2. We prepare the addition and send the quote.
  3. The file is lodged with the authority.
  4. We confirm once the child is added to the DSP citizenship.

Fees

Price on request

You receive a quote before any filing starts. It separates the CitizenX fee from government charges, courier costs, and legalization. Those extras are added only when they apply, and only after you approve them.

Government and third-party charges are confirmed in the quote when they apply.

Questions

Yes. This filing adds a newborn to a DSP citizenship. A CIIP file is a different service.
