Overview

This service covers adding a dependant to a Vanuatu CIIP citizenship. We work out which route and forms apply, prepare the papers with you, file them with the right office, and follow the request until the document is issued.

How it works in Vanuatu

These points come from the Citizenship Office types of citizenship page, the Citizenship Office fees and charges page, the Citizenship Office notice on FIU due diligence checks, CRIM's Registration of New Citizens page:

  • The Vanuatu Citizenship Commission grants citizenship by naturalisation, marriage, entitlement, regain, CIIP (Form D), the Development Support Program, the Vanuatu Contribution Program, and the Real Estate Option Program.
  • For the Capital Investment Immigration Plan (Form D), the Citizenship Office lists an extra USD 19,250 for each additional child under 18, and USD 44,250 for each dependant aged 18 to 21.
  • The Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit carries out due diligence for the DSP, CIIP and VCP programmes, and the Citizenship Office's fee table lists an FIU diligence fee of USD 5,000.
  • New citizens register with CRIM at the Ministry of Internal Affairs headquarters, by email, or at a provincial headquarters. CRIM asks for the completed Registration of New Citizen Form, a birth certificate and police clearance from the country of origin, the Citizenship Commission certificate and receipt, and a CRIM standard photo.

Rules and fees change, so we check the official source again before your application goes in.

Before you start

  • Match your names. The spelling should be the same on your passport, birth record, and any citizenship certificate.
  • Collect the originals. Most offices want originals or certified copies, and some want translations.
  • Plan for in-person steps. Some offices take photos, fingerprints, or signatures themselves.
  • Tell us the destination. If the document will be used abroad, it may also need an apostille.

Why requests get delayed

  • Names or dates that differ between documents
  • A birth, marriage, or citizenship record that is not yet in the register
  • Missing translations or certified copies
  • Fees paid to the wrong account
  • Photos that do not meet the office's rules

We check each of these before anything is filed.

Process

  1. Brief. Tell us what you need and where the document will be used.
  2. Check and quote. We confirm the route, list the documents, and send the quote.
  3. Documents. You send scans; we check them and arrange translations or certified copies if needed.
  4. Filing. We prepare the forms and lodge the request with the authority.
  5. Follow-up. We track the request and answer any questions from the office.
  6. Delivery. We send you the issued document, or tell you how to collect it.

Fees

Price on request

You receive a quote before any filing starts. It separates the CitizenX fee from government charges, translations, and courier costs. Those extras are added only when they apply, and only after you approve them.

Government fees change, so we confirm them with the issuing authority for your case before you sign.

Government and third-party charges are confirmed in the quote when they apply.

Questions

The Citizenship Office lists USD 19,250 per extra child under 18 and USD 44,250 per dependant aged 18 to 21 under Form D.

From the official sources linked on this page. We check them again before filing because rules and fees change.

Not always. We tell you before anything is filed if a step must be done in person.

You approve the quote before we file. Government fees, translations, and courier charges are listed on their own when they apply.
