Yes. Jordanian nationality law provides for withdrawal of naturalization obtained through fraud or false information, alongside other statutory grounds for loss of nationality. The relevant decision is made by the Council of Ministers with the King’s approval. The nationality law does not itself set out a dedicated response period or appeal procedure for these decisions. Any challenge needs to be assessed under the applicable administrative law procedures.

Jordan’s Nationality Law does not impose a fixed generational cap on citizenship transmitted through a Jordanian father. Both sons and daughters can inherit, including when born abroad. However, Jordanian mothers generally cannot transmit citizenship to children with a foreign father, except in limited statutory circumstances. Citizenship can therefore continue through successive paternal generations, while transmission through daughters is restricted.

Jordan has reactivated national service, so investment citizens should not assume their families are automatically exempt. Liability depends on the applicable age, selection, and exemption rules. Jordan’s 2026 rules for citizens residing abroad provide a documented deferral process. A deferral postpones service; it is different from a permanent exemption.
